Welcome to the Brockton Public Schools Young Athletes Special Olympics:

 

Every year over three hundred young student athletes in the district (Ages 3-5 years old) come together to participate. With the assistance from the special olympics of massachusetts and local volunteers, we will be holding our 15th event on May 26th, 2023. 

 

The focus is to increase an individuals ability to independent participate in age appropriate gross motor activities. This event specifically focuses on throwing a ball overhand and underhand, kicking a ball, hitting a ball on a batting "T", running with proper form, balancing, hopping, and jumping.
